“Above All Expectations"(2018)
We chose this destination almost inevitably because my son Riccardo, who lives in Hong Kong, wanted to go to the sea for this week of holidays. The best place nearest to him was the Philippines. Many friends told me good things about the country, but what we saw was surely above any expectations.
We experienced wonderful sea and nature with very nice people, many living in poverty, yet in an extremely dignitous and smiling way.
Unfortunately we only had few days available (9 days) and travel time from Italy is long. But it was all worth it and all the 3 of us would like to go back and explore more islands.
It was the first time for us to organize a trip with a tour operator which we accidentally found online (Tropical Experience). We had some initial fear of finding a “ghost agency” – it happens sometimes – but instead we immediately felt like we made the right choice.
From the start, Samuele was very available and patient in helping us to set up this trip, always giving us very thorough explanations on different possible itineraries, giving us suggestions and advices that ended up to be very correct.
When we arrived, the organization was perfect, all went smooth and everything was taken care with great attention to all details.
