Five of the villages around the town of Banaue are sites included in the UNESCO Heritage list. This amazing landscape is 2000 years old and is made with terraces, carved by indigenous and maintained through the years.
Mount Pinatubo is an active volcano which errupted in 1991 after 600 years of sleep. At present, the catastrophic disaster brought about a beauty that draws people to its natural beauty. Clark is a former American air base reverted to the Philippine government some few months after the Mount Pinatubo volcano errupted.
Bicol Region is located at the southeast of the Luzon Island, the same island where the capital Manila is. The main attraction of the area is the Mayon Volcano (2,463 meters), one of the most attractive tourist spots in the Philippines, thanks to its very symmetrical cone making a stunning postcard landscape in the area.
A swim with the big schools of fish in the Enchanted River in Surigao is a great experience, as the fish are very much visible in the clear waters. Siargao Island, on the other hand is dubbed as the Surfing Capital of the Philippines: people from different countries gather here to be stoked in the waves.
