"A world-unique breathtaking beauty" (2019)
We wanted a honeymoon that combines adventure, sea and nature and we didn't expect to find so much beauty while visiting the Philippines!
Our trip started in the tiny Camiguin Island, the best place to be immersed in unspoiled nature, hosted in a resort in the middle of the forest. It was very beautiful to combine mountain trekking (like the tour on Hibok-Hibok Volcano) and sea exploration like those we had with the Giant Clams Sanctuary and rich coral reefs.
Our trip went on to continue with Cebu Island, where we encountered the gentle giants (whale sharks!), swimming just a few meters away form them. The day on Sumilon Island gave us peace and relaxation, as well as with the visit of Kawasan Falls.
The peak of the adventure was Palawan. Firstly with the "dark" tours: at night searching for fireflies paddling by the mangroves and then discovered inside the Underground River, a place of a world-unique breathtaking beauty. Then we moved to the incredible seas of El Nido, that we explored with private boats, spending every day discovering the bay, the reefs, colourful fishes, turtles and surprising hidden beaches.
Our trip ended in Coron, where we had more day tours exploring lagoons and lakes and enjoying crystal-clear water.
The trip was perfectly organized by Samuele and Candice, that gave us a clear day-by-day program. We were able to go around autonomously and easily, with no difficulties!
