Our projects to support economically disadvantaged students in Tondo, Manila.
2017 PROJECT - COMPLETED
Last August 2017, we launched a fundraising campaign to support an elementary student’s schooling expenses through the Young Focus Foundation (www.youngfocus.org).
The project successfully collected 300 Euros, through our own initiative donation and donations from friends, followers on social networks and those who liked to give their personal contributions.
We personally visited the Foundation, located in Tondo (Manila), one of the more disadvantaged areas of the city. You can read more about our visit on our blog. Our fundraising successfully reached its goal amount on October 2017 to support an elementary student. Thanks to the scholarship program of the Foundation which supports students from elementary to college level. For these boys and girls, it would otherwise be impossible to have access to school.

2018 PROJECT - COMPLETED
After the success of the first initiative, we renewed it for 2018 and added some extra effort, setting our fundraising goal to 400 Euros, corresponding to around 24,000 Philippine Pesos.
Also this project was successfully completed and we were able to financially support another scholarship grant through Young Focus.
The scholarship was given to a college student from Tondo, that received all the needed support to cover 1 year of college fees and miscellaneous expenses. Specifically, the scholarship was received by Diana, a 2nd year Student of Information Techonologies.
